| "Through education I can make better choices."
“We so wish we would have know about hospice services sooner.”
These words are the most frequent ones we hear from families and community members that have been touched by a hospice experience.
Hospice & Palliative Care of Washington County is dedicated to educating our neighbors and health care professionals about the importance of end-of-life care, the choices that are available and the support and services provided to the patient, family and loved ones.
The comfort of knowing these choices exist, well before they become necessary, allows independent choices to be made based upon a persons own needs and desires. This knowledge dispels fear and myths, allowing services to be made available much sooner in their journey.
"Through education we will build awareness."
Through our Speakers Bureau we offer numerous educational seminars; to our faith community, local service clubs, businesses, health fairs and schools. We encourage you to help us engage the community in our mission and elevate awareness of those services provided.
