This is a free drop-in grief support group for anyone in the community who has experienced the death of a loved one and is in need of a compassionate, safe place to express their grief. Surviving the Loss - Grief Education and Support Class 10am - 11:30am Details
Surviving the Loss is designed for people with at least 3 months between the death of a loved one and the beginning of class. This is a free class which provides peer support, grief education, and emotional support within a safe, secure environment. | Yoga Workshop for the Grieving Person 11am - 1pm
Details
This is an individual workshop, it is not a series. In this workshop participants will learn about the physical symptoms of grief and the benefits of self-care and relaxation through the use of restorative/gentle yoga. Restorative yoga uses blankets to help ease participants into postures with the goal of mind/body relaxation, as well as recharging the immune system. Free/Registration Required goTo: Grief Center |
