This grief series has two separate workshops: One for ages 11-14 and one for ages 15-18.

During this workshop teens will have an opportunity to connect with their peers in a safe environment where they can openly process their grief. The workshop will combine music, storytelling, expressive arts and mask making to facilitate the grief process for teens who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives.

Facilitated by Mary Jane O’Rourke, MSW, and Melodie Kelly, MSW

  Yoga Workshop for the Grieving Person 11am - 1pm
Details

This is an individual workshop, it is not a series.

In this workshop participants will learn about the physical symptoms of grief and the benefits of self-care and relaxation through the use of restorative/gentle yoga.  Restorative yoga uses blankets to help ease participants into postures with the goal of mind/body relaxation, as well as recharging the immune system.
